Problem: Some of the lights are stuck at 100%.Solution:
1. Open the dimmer cabinet door.
2. Identify th e circuit by turning off the circuit breakers until the lights you are concerned about go off.
3. Locate the dimmer module which has the same number as the circuit breaker.
4. Verify that the bypass jumpers (red and black connectors on the left side of the module) are not connected. If they are connected, disconnect them.
5. Does this solve your problem?

 

Yes - close the cabinet door and resume operation.
No - disconnect the flat gray ribbon cable from the dimmer module (by pushing the tabs outward).
6. Do the lights on that circuit go out?

 

Yes - contact the nearest Authorized Service Center.
No - the dimmer module is bad. Call customer service at (214) 553-5700 for a replacement.

How to replace a dimmer module

1. Turn off all of the circuit breakers.
2. Unplug the flat ribbon cable from the dimmer module by pushing the latches away from each other.
3. Disconnect the wires from "A" and "B" of the dimmer module. "A" is line (120 VAC), and "B" is load.
4. Unplug the neutral (white) wire from the dimmer module.
5. Take the left mounting screw out.
6. Loosen, but do not remove, the two mounting screws on the right side of the module.
7. Slide the dimmer module to the left so the dimmer module comes out.
8. To install the new dimmer module slide the new module in and start from step #5 backwards.

  How to replace a Stellar dimmer module
1. Open the Stellardimmer pannel door
2. Turn off the circuit breaker for the defective dimmer module. For example, If module #6 is not responding, then turn off circuit breaker #6
 
3. Unplug the flat ribbon cable from the dimmer module by lifting it straight up.
4. Disconnect the 3 position terminal strip by pulling it upward.
  Note: Do not remove the wires from the terminal block.
 
 
5. Loosen, but do not remove the two mounting screws (a & b) from the dimmer cabinet backplate.
6. Slide the module upward and pull out
 
7. Before inserting the new dimmer module, set the dip-switch on the replacement dimmer to match the dimmer being replaced.
8. Insert the new module in place and reverse the process from Step 5. Turn on circuit breaker when the work is completed.
   
9. Connect the 3 position terminal strip
10. Plug the flat ribbon cable to the dimmer module
   
11. Turn on the circuit breaker for the new dimmer module.

How to replace a Stellar mini module
1. Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the cover from Stellar Mini Pannel
2. Turn off the circuit breaker for the defective dimmer module. For example, If module #6 is not responding, then turn off circuit breaker #6
 
3. Unplug the flat ribbon cable from the dimmer module by lifting it straight up.
4. At the power terminal block, disconnect the black, orange, red, and white wires coming from the defective dimmer module.
 
5. Remove the top mounting screw (a). Loosen, but do not remove the bottom mounting screw (b).
6. Remove the dimmer module.
 
7. Before inserting the new dimmer module, set the dip-switch on the replacement dimmer to match the dimmer being replaced.
8. Insert the new module in place, tightenthe mounting screws, and connect the flat ribbon cable.
   
9. Connect the module's black, orange, red, and white wires to the power terminal block. When complete, turn on the circuit breaker.
10. Turn on the circuit breaker

Problem:  The lights are stuck at some level.

At the dimmer cabinet, turn off the circuit breaker labeled "C." Wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. The lights should go back to their programmed settings

Problem:  The outside lights are not on.

If you have an SP, XP, or TPC controller:
1.Turn the key to MANUAL.
2. Press the UP arrow to select "Manual Zone Adjust" and press ENTER.
3. Press ON.
4. Press ENTER. All the outside zones should be on.
5. Turn the key to AUTO. If you have a different controller:
You probably have an external device to control the outside lights. Consult the documentation for that device. If you don't have an external device to control the outside lights, contact the nearest Authorized Service Center.

Problem: Lights are flickering

You had a power failure caused by storm, lightning, construction, etc.
At the dimmer cabinet, turn off the circuit breaker labeled "C." Wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. The lights should go back to their programmed settings.
